Meet Caleb – a soulful, sweet, and easygoing gentleman who’s mastered the art of quiet companionship. At around 55 pounds, this handsome boy is a mellow, middle-aged lovebug. Caleb is the kind of dog who doesn’t beg for attention—but wins hearts with soft eyes, a gentle tail wag, and the quiet way he stays close by, just happy to be near. He’s content with the simple joys in life: a cozy sunspot to nap in, a soft blanket to curl up on, a favorite chew toy, and a human to call his own. While Caleb is crate trained, fully house-trained, and knows how to relax with his people, he does best with very specific boundaries to keep him feeling secure and at peace. Caleb is fully vetted, healthy, and ready to begin his next chapter—a life filled with routine, security, love, and quiet companionship. Once Caleb bonds with you, it’s for life. He’ll be your shadow, your cheerleader, and your most loyal friend.
Ideal Home
Caleb must be the only pet in the home. While he’s affectionate and loyal with humans, he is not dog-friendly, and interactions with other animals are simply not safe or comfortable for him. For this reason, he cannot go on leash walks or visit public spaces like dog parks or patios. Instead, Caleb will thrive in a calm, quiet home with a securely fenced yard (at least 5 feet and sturdy) where he can safely get his exercise and enjoy fresh air without the stress of encountering other dogs. He’s not a dog who needs big adventures—just a peaceful yard to explore and a cozy spot indoors to rest his head. This sweet guy is the perfect match for a homebody looking for a low-maintenance, deeply loyal companion.
