Once she feels comfortable, she leans in for pets, offers sweet "hugs," and happily soaks up attention. On leash, Velma may start out a little wiggly or unsure, especially around doorways or sudden sounds, but she settles quickly and enjoys exploring at a steady pace. She’s treat-motivated, enjoys meeting new friends, and has shown lovely manners during handling, even allowing her leash to be removed while she’s eating. Volunteers describe her as social, versatile, and full of heart. With her soft nature, playful spirit, and growing confidence, Velma is ready to bring joy, affection, and fun to a family who loves a friendly, expressive companion.
