Benny

Benny is a sweet, fun-loving 4-4.5-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix weighing 45-50 pounds. He absolutely adores the water and can entertain himself for hours playing frisbee, even leaping to catch it mid-air! Benny is smart, handsome, and has a medium energy level – he enjoys running and playing but isn't hyper. He ended up at a shelter through no fault of his own. Benny plays well with other medium to large dogs, both male and female, and has even been known to step in as a peacemaker if he senses tension. He was previously returned due to an improper introduction with another male dog, but in his current foster home, he has had no issues playing appropriately with dogs his size or larger. Cats are unknown. He rides well in the car and does not experience separation anxiety when left alone. Benny is looking for an active, playful home where he can be an only dog or have a compatible canine companion.

Ideal Home

An active, playful home would be ideal for Benny. He would also thrive with a compatible canine companion. Absolutely no tie-outs or electric fences.

Ongoing Health

Benny is up to date on vaccinations and is heartworm negative.

Training & Support

Benny is crate trained and fully potty trained. He is well-behaved when left alone and rides well in the car.
