Star

Star is a 4-year-old Catahoula/Hound mix with a heart every bit as big as her personality. She weighs approximately 60 pounds. This resilient girl has been through a lot, but her sweet spirit shines through. As a result of a past injury and subsequent surgery, her tongue now hangs out permanently, but it doesn't dampen her joyful nature. Star is incredibly affectionate and happy-natured. She loves to run, explore, and play, but she also knows how to relax and melt into snuggles, making her the perfect balance of fun and companionship. She enjoys car rides and would be a wonderful adventure buddy for someone seeking a loyal co-pilot.

Ideal Home

Star does wonderfully with kids and gets along beautifully with other dogs. However, she would do best in a feline-free home as her instincts may lead her to chase.

Ongoing Health

Star underwent jaw surgery due to a past injury. As a result, her tongue now hangs out permanently. She is spayed and fully vaccinated.

Star is a smart girl who already knows "sit" and uses the doggie door like a pro.
