Lacey

Lacey is a sweet 6-month-old Lab mix who weighs about 42 pounds. She was rescued from a crowded rural shelter in South Texas and has been in our foster program since early March. Lacey was initially scared, but she's blossomed into a confident and loving companion. She's a gentle soul who gets along well with all dogs she's met and absolutely adores children. Lacey isn't a big barker and is already house-trained. She enjoys walks but isn't a high-energy dog, making her the perfect couch companion for cozy evenings.

Ideal Home

Lacey would thrive in a home that can offer her love and stability. She enjoys the company of other dogs and loves children.

Ongoing Health

Lacey has completed all her veterinary care. She is spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. She is also microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Lacey is house-trained and enjoys walks. She's a good listener and will likely continue to do well with positive reinforcement.

Transportation

Lacey can arrive in Hartford, CT on May 23rd. She is currently in a foster home in Texas and will be transported to Connecticut upon adoption.
