Nala is a 6-year-old, spayed female Rottweiler mix who weighs about 46 pounds. She's a sweet, gentle, and well-mannered companion who would settle into family life with ease. Nala has an easygoing personality and a heart full of love to give. She enjoys spending time with other dogs, but she's just as happy relaxing once playtime is over. She is respectful and gentle with dogs of all sizes. Nala is also non-reactive on walks and has excellent leash manners. She currently lives with children ages 6 and 8 and has been around a 5-year-old, and her foster describes her as incredibly gentle, patient, and loving with kids. Nala is fully house-trained and does well in her crate, though she may bark or cry for a few minutes when first crated or left alone, which is expected to improve as she becomes more comfortable. She is a smart girl who knows several commands and is eager to please. Nala loves playing with balls, enjoys car rides, and has no trouble with stairs. She greets everyone with kindness and is an easy dog to have by your side.
Ideal Home
Nala would thrive in a home with a moderate activity level where she can enjoy a daily walk and plenty of time with her people. She would likely enjoy having another friendly dog in the home, but it's not a requirement.
