Meet Thatcher!

Thatcher is a one-year-old, 56-pound bundle of Border Collie and Great Pyrenees mix, currently navigating his charmingly awkward teenage phase. He's a genuinely sweet and polite boy who doesn't try to take the lead. Thatcher is great with other dogs, fine with cats, and good with children who are past the grabbing stage. He prefers to observe and then gently join in once he feels comfortable and the situation is calm. He bonds closely with his people and thrives on a predictable routine.

Ideal Home

A fenced yard is a must for Thatcher to safely stretch his long legs and build confidence. He doesn't need constant activity; a soft place to rest, a stable environment, and occasional treats will make him feel right at home. He would do best in a household that understands some dogs take a little time to warm up and show their true selves.

Training & Support

Thatcher is a well-behaved dog, but he might exhibit occasional bursts of zoomies once he feels comfortable. Patience and understanding as he settles into his new environment will be key to his success.
