Mars

What a story Mars has! He was found after being abandoned near a gas station, but thankfully, some kind people made sure he had food and a safe place to rest until our team could rescue him. Now, Mars is with a wonderful dog trainer, learning to trust and enjoy life again. He's a true people-lover and greets everyone with enthusiasm. Mars also gets along famously with other dogs, especially those who love to play and run as much as he does! With a little guidance, he could also be a great companion for feline friends. Because Mars is a strong, energetic boy, he'd be best suited for a home with older children who won't be accidentally knocked over during playtime. His recall is fantastic, and we're confident he'll be an amazing addition to a loving family.

Ideal Home

Mars would thrive in a home with older children. He could potentially live with cats with proper introductions and guidance.

Ongoing Health

Mars is heartworm positive and has begun the slow kill treatment. We will provide monthly Heartgard to his future adopter to cover the remainder of his treatment. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Mars is currently boarding with a dog trainer and is learning to be a dog again. While he's made great progress, he's not yet house-trained.
