Sequoia

Sequoia is a 1-year-old German Shepherd with a strong spirit and a gentle, loving heart. She’s a smart, loyal girl who enjoys being close to her people and thrives on connection, making her a wonderful companion for someone looking for both devotion and companionship. Sequoia is heartworm positive, but with proper treatment she can live a happy and healthy life. With a committed adopter and guidance from a veterinarian, heartworm disease is treatable, and she has every chance to go on to live a happy, healthy life. During treatment, she’ll need a calm environment and limited activity to help her heal.

Ideal Home

Sequoia would do best with a family who can provide structure, patience, and lots of love as she continues her journey. She is approved for families with children. A fenced yard is not required.

Ongoing Health

Sequoia is heartworm positive and will require treatment and a period of limited activity during her recovery.

Training & Support

Sequoia thrives on connection and will reward a committed adopter with unwavering loyalty and a special bond.

Transporation

Sequoia is available for transport to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Transports are arranged for specific dates, typically within 1-3 weeks of approving your application. Adopters will meet at a designated meeting spot to pick up their new companions. Due to import regulations, we are not able to adopt to MA or RI residents at this time.
