As sweet as a chocolate chip cookie, our lovely boy Chip is searching for his forever home! Chip is a playful, curious, and loving 2-year-old, neutered male Pit bull mix, weighing around 60 lbs. He's a certified lover boy who adores his people and will be your shadow everywhere you go. While Chip can be a bit cautious when first meeting new people, he quickly becomes your best friend once he trusts you. He loves to cuddle, enjoys sniffing walks (and does well on leash), is crate-trained and potty-trained, and loves spending time outdoors. Chip is also quite the fashionista, rocking any costume with enthusiasm!
Ideal Home
Chip would thrive with an experienced adopter who can provide patience, safety, and endless love. He would do best with calm, submissive doggy siblings that enjoy playing, or as an only dog if he can go on outings regularly. Chip needs a home that understands his anxiety when left alone and can help him continue working on it, though he can be crated. He asks that he not live with any cats. Chip would also happily accompany you on your adventures, from car rides to walks, and would love a family that can keep up with his training. He has done well around older children.
