Maddie

Are you looking for the dog equivalent of a #Girlboss? Perhaps a pittie Miranda Priestly? Maddie is a diamond in the making! She's a work in progress, and has attached very strongly to her foster. She can be a bit bossy, but is mostly a perfect gem for her foster. Maddie does have intense stranger danger and reacts similarly to new dogs, though she has bonded closely with her foster fur-siblings and particularly with her little foster fur-brother, who she has turned into her emotional support animal.

When she's not being a boss, Maddie is pure sunshine! Being loved by Maddie is like having the sun shine on you every day, with her big smile, sweet kisses, playful nature, intense, burrowing cuddles, and sighs of contentment. If you are that special person (or persons!) who can help Maddie become her best self, you will never regret it.

Ideal Home

Maddie would do best in a home that is patient and supportive of her continued progress. She is recommended for a home with no children and only friendly, patient, and well-rounded dogs as siblings.

Maddie is sponsored with training to continue her journey.

Training & Support

Maddie is working with a trainer to help her to better emotionally regulate. She will need a home that will continue this support.

Maddie is located within an approximately 55-mile radius of Lockport, NY 14094 USA. We adopt and foster locally only. We do not adopt to Canada due to border restrictions and breed-specific legislation.
