Gustav is a 3½-year-old terrier/Lab mix with a big personality and an even bigger love for fun! He’s very dog-friendly and thrives in playgroups, where he loves to romp around with his canine pals. His favorite game is pretending to play fetch—he’s all about the chase, even if the “bringing the ball back” part still hasn’t clicked. Gustav is a goofy, chunky boy who adores snacks (maybe a little too much). Interactive toys are his jam… at least until he gets too hangry—then all brain power disappears, and he’ll let you know with dramatic whining and cries of disapproval. Gustav has been given a second chance and is excited to start his next journey with you!

Ongoing Health
Gustav is up-to-date on all vetting, which includes DAPP, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccines, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping.
Training & Support
Gustav is still working on bringing the ball back during fetch and can get a bit dramatic when he's hungry. Interactive toys are a great way to keep him engaged! He's a rescue dog who will benefit from continued training efforts and a family who understands his needs.

Transporation
Gustav is available for transportation in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, TN, KY, IN, IL, WI, MN & OH to predetermined locations and times. Private custom transport routes and destinations are available upon request with financial responsibility on the adopted family. For those being picked up at our Angleton, TX location, there is a $75 fee.
