Lydia

Lydia is an 8-year-old spayed female, a Black Lab/Greyhound mix, who was rescued from euthanasia at OKCAW. She's a sweet older girl looking for a peaceful retirement home. Lydia has a clear preference for quiet living and seems to do best with older women. While she's showing her age, she still enjoys a good zoom around the yard with a tennis ball or a leisurely run alongside a bike. Most of her time is spent napping on the couch with her foster dad.

Ideal Home

Lydia would thrive in a low-energy home. She does best as the only pet and in a household without children.

Lydia is spayed, vaccinated, and showing her age.

Training & Support

Lydia is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash. She's generally quiet, only barking if someone is at the door, window, or fence. She has become barrier reactive to dogs in neighboring yards, so she needs a home where this can be managed.
