Grace Hargraves

Grace is a beautiful, sturdy, and incredibly smart 3-year-old girl with perky ears that are like little bat wings and who loves a good scratch! She has a lot of energy but naps most of the day during work hours. Grace was an excellent mom to her 10 puppies and is now ready to find her forever home. She can sit, lie down, and is completely potty and crate trained. Grace loves her kennel, often taking naps in it voluntarily, and happily sleeps there every night. She is working on rolling over, shaking hands, "down," and becoming more zen about seeing squirrels on walks. Grace is very strong and will require your full attention on walks, so no earbuds for the first few walks. She lives with her foster parents, with one working from home and the other traveling for work. Grace notices changes in her environment and is one of those special dogs who, when you're in, you're in with her. She was raised by an unsheltered person and shows some signs of trauma, which she is working through with the help of her fosters and Save-A-Bull. Grace has a difficult time when initially meeting men but has proven she can get past this after an initial introduction.

Ideal Home

Grace would make a wonderful addition to any household. She is loyal, gentle, playful, and smart. She will require your full attention on walks, so no earbuds for the first few walks.

Ongoing Health

Grace is currently working through some signs of trauma from her past.

Training & Support

Grace is working on "rolling over," "shaking hands," "down," and becoming more zen about seeing squirrels on walks. She has a difficult time when initially meeting men but can overcome this after an introduction.
