Please email my foster at catiebethburdette@yahoo.com – Very cuddly, sweet, and incredibly motivated by treats and cuddles; a total velcro dog who loves being close, snuggling, and always being involved – Very playful and loves her chew toys, lick mats, brushing, and all forms of affection – Easily excited with very high arousal; has adorable puppy energy in a big 5-year-old body and benefits from frequent walks/a yard – Can be mouthy or jumpy when overstimulated but has never bitten or broken skin; redirects easily and is rarely mouthy anymore – Walks great on a harness; may tug, leash-bite, or get distracted when excited, but is easily redirected with treats or her Kong tire – Very friendly with people and other dogs; slow intros to guests are helpful – Still working on cat introductions — no aggression, just very enthusiastic and large – Recommended for a home with no small children due to her arousal level – Crate trained (whined the first few nights but now settles calmly) and fully house/apartment trained; lived comfortably in an apartment – Knows sit, down, come, and is working on touch and stay – Food-motivated, eager to please, learns quickly, and can be a bit stubborn – A bit of a counter surfer but can be redirected with commands or when nothing interesting is available – Very good at laying by your feet just to be near you – Would thrive in a home with a yard and someone experienced with shepherds or high-arousal dogs who can give her space to decompress – Truly a sweet, loving lady who enjoys head/chest scratches, gives lots of kisses, and will be the best companion with patience, structure, and understanding
