Our adoption application can be found at the bottom of this pet's bio. Once your application has been approved, we can arrange a meet & greet with you and Dottie.

Dottie is a 4-year-old, 62-pound female ready to find her forever home! She is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed.

Ideal Home

Dottie would thrive in a moderately active home, enjoying at least one good walk or play session daily. She is a cuddle bug who loves to play and is a very loyal companion. Dottie does best with one or two calmer dogs, as she can get overstimulated in larger groups. She would also be happy as an only pet, receiving all the attention. She is cat-friendly and can live with cats, sometimes engaging in play if initiated by the cat. Dottie would do best in a home without young males or boys, as she has had a negative experience and is uncomfortable around them. She is wonderful when meeting women and adult men.

Ongoing Health

Dottie is up-to-date on all vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Dottie is fully potty trained and crate trained. While she can be left to free roam and does well, she may whine initially before settling. She walks great on leash, though she may pull and bark if she sees another dog. Dottie is intelligent and food-motivated, making her quick to learn during training.

Dottie is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and is available for virtual meet & greets. She is eligible for transport to an adopter once one is lined up.
