Peta

My name is Peta, and I'm a two and a half year old girl who has been waiting for my happily ever after for what feels like a lifetime. I spent most of my life outside on a chain, never knowing what it felt like to be loved or have a soft bed. I even had puppies repeatedly, but no one ever made me feel special. I found myself in a shelter, scared and alone, and almost didn't make it out. Thankfully, I was rescued, but it's been over a year since then, and I'm still waiting for my forever family. I don't understand why I'm overlooked, but I promise I'm trying my best to be the best dog I can be. I absolutely adore people and will shower you with kisses and snuggles. Belly rubs are my favorite, and I'll wiggle with joy just to see you smile. I'm a bit goofy and love to play!

Ideal Home

I do best with older children and would love a family that enjoys laughter and play. I'd prefer to be the only dog in the home, but I have more than enough love, silliness, and loyalty to share with my human family all by myself.

I am spayed, vetted, and heartworm negative.
