Benson

Meet Benson, a sweet and quiet boy who's ready to find his peaceful forever home! Benson's journey started rough; he was hit by a car in Texas and had to have a leg amputated. But don't worry, he's healed beautifully and is now learning that humans can be wonderful, especially with treats and a comfy place to rest. He's a true observer, embodying the calm nature of his Great Pyrenees heritage, and is content to be by your side without needing constant attention.

Ideal Home

Benson would thrive in a calm, low-traffic environment. Children over 12 who understand how to respect a dog's space would be a great fit. He can be overwhelmed by loud or boisterous younger children. A home with minimal stairs is preferred to keep him comfortable long-term.

Ongoing Health

Benson is a tripod after a past injury and leg amputation. He gets around wonderfully, but a home with fewer stairs will help him stay comfortable.

Training & Support

Benson is potty-trained and rides beautifully in the car. He's been a perfect gentleman for vet visits and handling. He's a lower-energy dog who prefers a slower pace of life.
