Ferka is a delightful Chihuahua, around 4 years old and weighing about 9 pounds. She’s a small dog with a large personality and an even larger heart! Ferka was found outside a church during Mass, comfortably mingling with people and playing with other dogs. This sweet and social spirit is exactly who she is. She is crate-trained, rides calmly in the car, and is friendly with dogs, children, men, women, and even strangers. Ferka is affectionate, playful, and loves to give kisses, truly enjoying human attention and being part of the action.
Ideal Home
Ferka would do best in a home with tolerant, playful dogs, or with proper supervision, as her high energy can sometimes overwhelm other dogs. She cannot live with cats, as she has a tendency to chase them. A fenced backyard is also preferred.
Ongoing Health
Ferka has received a spay/neuter certificate, DHPPI and Rabies vaccines, Bordetella vaccine, deworming, and is microchipped. She has also had a 4DX test, heartworm test (negative), and is on monthly Nexgard Spectra preventive. She comes with a health certificate and vaccination booklet.
Training & Support
Ferka is not house-trained. Potential adopters should have experience with dog behavior and training, or be willing to hire a trainer. High tolerance and patience are essential for this intelligent dog.
