Meet Star! She's a radiant Basenji mix, around 40 pounds, with a personality as bright as her name. Star is a true ray of sunshine, full of love, warmth, and affection. She's incredibly gentle, loves giving hugs and the softest kisses, and takes treats with a delicate touch. Her captivating eyes truly show the depth of love she has to offer.

Star is dog friendly, crate trained, and has excellent manners. She's quick to do her business, has a fast recall, and loves to be close to her people. Her energy level is nicely balanced – she's happy to play and engage but just as content to cuddle up and relax by your side. Star was rescued from a euthanasia list in Houston, Texas, and is now safe in foster care, patiently waiting for her forever home.

Star would make a wonderful addition to a family and would do great in a home with children. She thrives on connection and simply loves being in the company of her humans.

Star is fully vetted, spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, and has been maintained on heartworm prevention.
