Meet Georgie! This sweet 12-year-old Poodle mix is a gentle soul looking for a quiet retirement home filled with love. Georgie was found wandering and is now ready to settle down and enjoy his golden years. He is blind, and while new environments can be a bit overwhelming, he thrives with routine and a sense of security. He is a quiet and independent boy who simply desires a peaceful place to call his own.

Ideal Home

Georgie would do best in a quiet, low-traffic environment where he can feel safe and secure. He needs a patient adopter who understands his blindness and will give him the time and space to adjust. Due to his timid nature and a tendency to nip if startled, a home without young children is a must. A fenced yard is required for him to explore safely. He enjoys the calm companionship of other mellow pets, so a home with other well-behaved dogs and cats would be a great fit.

Ongoing Health

Georgie is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Georgie is crate trained and potty trained. While he is not leash-trained, he is happy with access to a secure, fenced yard. He is a couch potato at heart and is happiest lounging near his people, enjoying a calm home life.
