Meet Ollie!
This handsome 1-year-old, 45lb boy is neutered and ready to find his forever family. Ollie's journey has been a tough one. He was adopted as a puppy, only to be returned to us in a dire state, severely underweight and showing clear signs of neglect. He was so frightened and shut down that he was placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, with just an hour to spare, a compassionate foster stepped in, and we were able to save his life. Now, Ollie is looking for a home where he can finally experience the love and security he deserves. He's a devoted companion, always eager to be by your side, whether you're tackling chores or running errands.
Ideal Home
Ollie absolutely thrives with other dogs and needs a confident canine companion in his new home to help him continue to build his confidence. He loves playing with his dog siblings, but due to his enthusiasm for chasing squirrels, he'd do best in a home without very small dogs or cats. He also needs a home with older children, as he experiences fear when crated or in confined spaces, and we want to avoid any accidental triggers.

Ollie is neutered and up-to-date on all vaccinations.
Training & Support
Ollie is house-trained and leash-trained, though he's still learning to walk in a perfectly straight line. He responds well to basic commands and is quickly learning important life skills, like not standing directly underfoot while cooking! He can be fearful in confined spaces, especially when he doesn't know you, so patience and understanding in his new home will be key. He also needs a little encouragement to go out on wet grass, a common preference for many pit bull mixes!
