Parka

Parka is a 1-year-old, 67-pound female Great Pyrenees who is the sweetest and most gentle girl. She adores her people and loves to nuzzle up against everyone, give hugs, and look lovingly into their eyes. Parka enjoys early morning walks and late evening strolls. While she likes to sunbathe, she prefers to sit in the shade due to her fluffy coat. She likes to hoard her toys, gobble her food, and share her love. Parka is a "jealous queen" and would be ideal as the sole dog in a home to soak up all the love and affection.

Ongoing Health

All dogs are current on heartworm and flea preventative. All adoption fees include spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, fecal, and heartworm test.

Training & Support

Parka likes to hoard her toys and gobble her food.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Adopters will visit with an adoption counselor and complete a short application.
• Adopters must live within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and be at least 21 years old.
• Renters must provide proof of pet deposit and/or written permission by landlord to have a pet.
• Adoption fees are $225 for dogs older than 6 months.

Transportation

Parka is located at our shelter. We do not offer transport at this time. Walk-ins are available Tuesday-Friday from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM, and Saturday-Sunday from 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM.
