About Cooper

Meet Cooper, a charming 13-month-old mixed breed who tips the scales at around 35 pounds! This handsome boy is a delightful blend of German Shepherd, Lab, Husky, and Terrier, making him a truly unique companion. Cooper is brimming with puppy energy and dreams of an active family who enjoys long walks, invigorating hikes, and plenty of playtime. After a day of adventure, he loves nothing more than to snuggle up on the couch with his favorite humans. Having experienced a few homes already in his short life, Cooper is now seeking a stable, loving, and safe forever family to call his own. He's been a good boy around other dogs and cats, though he does enjoy a playful chase. His sweet temperament suggests he'd likely do well with children. Cooper is a quick learner and has mastered basic commands, showing excellent recall. He's crate trained, but his foster family hopes to find him a home where he can be trusted outside the crate, as he may have been crated excessively in the past, leading to some pent-up energy. Cooper is truly adorable and is sure to be the most loving and loyal companion to his very lucky family.

Ideal Home

Cooper would thrive in an active household that enjoys outdoor activities and has ample time for play and affection. A home where he doesn't need to be crated would be ideal, allowing him to relax and be part of the family.

Ongoing Health

Cooper was recently neutered, which often helps to calm puppy energy. He is up-to-date on all his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Cooper is a quick study and has learned basic commands with ease, including excellent recall. While he is crate trained, he may benefit from a home where he can gradually transition away from crate use.
