Pippi is estimated to be about 2 years old and weighs 37 lbs. While her breed is a guess, she appears to be a staffie-style mix. She's a happy, medium-sized dog with plenty of energy and a heart that's wide open.
On leash, Pippi walks at an easy pace and responds well to correction. When she receives affection, she gets almost giddy with enthusiasm, wiggling with pure joy. It's like a confetti cannon of happiness!
Pippi is friendly and confident with other dogs. She plays with high energy, zooming and engaging confidently. She seems to do best with confident female dogs and males in general, and she politely moves on if the vibes aren't right. Her play style can be bold, so she would benefit from living with a confident, playful dog who can also set boundaries. She responds well to structure and clear boundaries.
She walks into her crate without fuss, which is a big win! Pippi would thrive with an active family who enjoys movement, play, and a dog who greets each day like a celebration. Her response to cats was mixed and inconclusive, so we would love to see her in a home with a cat or two to get a full understanding of her interaction style.

Pippi is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
