Lazarus "Lazzie"

Meet Lazarus, also known as Lazzie, Russie, or Laz! This handsome 3-4 year old, 50 lb. Black Lab mix is a volunteer favorite. Lazzie is a calm, gentle, and quiet boy with a gorgeous, shiny coat. He loves to spend his days lounging and cuddling on the bed with other dogs and his people. He gets along well with dogs of all sizes and currently lives with a chihuahua and a 70 lb. pittie. Lazzie even enjoyed socializing and making new friends at a local adoption event, where he was sweet and gentle with every stranger he met. He came to us covered in mange and suffering from an upper respiratory infection, found alone in a ditch. Now, he's healthy, strong, and strikingly handsome!

Ideal Home

Lazzie enjoys lounging and cuddling, and gets along well with other dogs. He is likely also friendly with cats and children.

Ongoing Health

Lazzie has been fully vaccinated and neutered. He has made a full recovery from his previous skin and respiratory infections.

Training & Support

Lazzie is kennel trained and potty trained. He also qualifies for 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.

Transportation

Lazzie is located in Houston, TX. Transport is included in the adoption fee and can take you to your state or a neighboring state. Pickups may vary, potentially being across city, county, or state lines. We coordinate with transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states. You will be able to track the transport van using the Life360 app and receive updates. Facebook chats are also available for tracking information.
