Willa

Meet Willa! This sweet girl is estimated to be around 5 years old and was rescued as part of a larger group of dogs who were once living feral. Willa is a gentle soul who can be quite affectionate with her person. She’s a true follower and a “dog’s dog,” perfectly content to be part of a canine pack. She is very food-motivated, quiet, and often seems content in her own little world. She absolutely adores noisy, soft toys! Willa is incredibly respectful of all creatures, getting along wonderfully with cats, birds, rabbits, and even turtles. She’s grateful for the simple comforts of a warm home, food, and canine companionship.

Ideal Home

Willa thrives in a home where she can be part of a pack and continue to feel secure. She is easily pleased and not destructive, making her a joy to have around.

Willa was born with a birth defect and is missing an eye.

Training & Support

Willa walks perfectly on a leash, though she should always be kept on leash due to her skittish nature. She is house and crate-trained, and we are working on basic obedience. Continued training is essential for her ongoing success and happiness.

• The adoption application review can take up to 3 weeks.
• A minimum of two meet-and-greets are required before adoption.
• A home check must occur.
• Out-of-state adopters are welcome at their expense.
• No payment plans are available.
• For Wags adopters, a donation of your choice is expected, encouraged, welcome, and appreciated.
• The tax-deductible minimum adoption donation fee is $295.
