Bowie

Bowie is an awesome, gentle giant who is easygoing and incredibly sweet. He's 100% housetrained and not at all destructive. This precious dog is very well-mannered and loving. He was a very good boy on his freedom ride to his foster home and seemed to enjoy the trip! Bowie is quiet and chill most of the time and very tolerant when his foster sister, a friendly husky, wants him to play. While on walks, however, he gets excited when he sees people or dogs he wants to meet. He pulls and barks, and if given the chance, he likes to greet and sniff them. When making a new friend, he also likes to rub his head on them – it's Bowie's version of a hug.

Ideal Home

Bowie enjoys going for longer walks and hanging out in the backyard, with squirrel-watching being a favorite pastime. Bunnies also spike his curiosity! His endurance and tolerance for the heat is low, so walks are short when it's hot out.

Bowie is working on learning not to bark at strangers. With men, he's cautious at first, then "hugs." With women, it's instant wiggles.
