Jaxon is a handsome 2-year-old male dog looking for a patient and active forever home. He came to rescue as a pup and has been waiting for his chance to shine. Jaxon is a playful and goofy guy who loves to explore with his nose! He enjoys plenty of physical and mental exercise and would thrive in a home that can provide him with structure.

Ideal Home

Jaxon would love to live with another friendly, happy-go-lucky dog who enjoys a rough-and-tumble play style, as this helps him warm up to new people more quickly. He is good with kids 8 and older but has not been exposed to cats. He would thrive in a home that can provide him with ample physical and mental exercise and some structure. Jaxon would also benefit from a home that can give him the time he needs to settle into a new routine, as he has moved around a couple of times in his short life.

Ongoing Health

Jaxon is a healthy boy with no known ongoing health conditions.

Training & Support

Jaxon has received training for basic obedience and knows several commands. He is crate-trained and sleeps in his crate, though he sometimes gets to sleep in the living room. He is fully potty-trained and prefers to do his business outdoors. Jaxon is still learning to warm up to new people but becomes a fast friend once comfortable. His recall is great, and he has worked on off-leash training.
