Hank Reed is a 5-month-old bundle of joy, weighing in at approximately 17 pounds. While we suspect he's a mix of Pit Bull and Labrador Retriever, his true heritage is a delightful mystery! Hank is playful, sweet, curious, and loves to snuggle. His days are filled with the perfect puppy routine: eating, sleeping, and playing with his siblings. He's a rescue pup from an area with high shelter euthanasia rates, making him especially deserving of a loving home.

Hank would thrive in a home that can commit to the joys and responsibilities of puppyhood, including dedicated training and socialization.

Ongoing Health

Hank is up-to-date on all vetting, including his DAPP vaccine with booster, Bordetella, and Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and is microchipped. He also receives a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative.

Training & Support

Hank is still very young and requires a family committed to providing him with routine, structure, and clear boundaries. Crate training is a requirement to help with potty training, energy management, and his overall development into a well-rounded adult dog. Our team of trainers has also worked with Hank on basic manners.

• The adoption fee is $1,000.00, which includes all vetting, transport costs, and a portion of the extensive care provided to Hank.
• An $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
• We offer a 30-day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion and a free private online dog training session with GoodPup.
• Discounts are available on Embark DNA tests, in-person dog training through Rover Training, and subscription services for dog food.

Transporation

Hank is currently in Texas and can be transported nationwide through our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Available drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
