Jetty Boy the Couch Snuggler and Tiny Dog Lover

Jet is a gorgeous, goofy boy with soulful eyes and an infectious sparkle of joy. He's estimated to be around 2 years old and weighs about 65 pounds. We're guessing he's a boutique doodle/lab/setter mix, but he's a rescue with a mysterious past, so you can decide for yourself! Jet is incredibly affectionate and people-oriented, greeting everyone like a long-lost friend with kisses and belly rub invitations. He's happy to settle indoors but is always ready for a bit of fun if there's movement.

Ideal Home

Jet would do best in an active household that enjoys visitors and connection. A busy home with people coming and going would suit him perfectly. Apartment living is a possibility for an adopter committed to daily exercise, continued leash training, and mental enrichment. He needs someone who understands young, goofy dogs and can help him learn about the world. Jet is a no-cat guy; his interest in our house cat was too strong, and his size could cause chaos if he were to chase one.

Training & Support

Jet's leash skills are a work in progress as he's still learning to contain his excitement. He's a fast learner who responds well to guidance and will need consistent practice and a dog-savvy adopter to help him find his rhythm. He gets along well with other dogs and coexists calmly, though he hasn't shown much interest in playing yet. He would do well with a medium-energy dog companion who enjoys some movement but won't overwhelm him.

Jet is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide. Our rescue-run USDA-certified transport system ensures safe and comfortable travel with 24/7 care. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). An $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
