Scout

Scout is a charming Golden Retriever mix, approximately 1 year old and weighing between 50-60 lbs. He's one of four remaining pups from a litter of ten, all looking for a safe and loving foster home to help them transition before finding their forever families. Scout is incredibly grateful for a second chance and is eager to learn what it's like to be a cherished pet.

Ideal Home

Scout would thrive in a home that can provide him with patience and guidance as he learns the ropes. He is house-trained and uses a crate, which are great starting points! He's generally great with everyone and cats, but may be a bit shy and nervous around new dogs initially. Proper introductions with the rescue's assistance will be key for him to feel comfortable with canine companions.

Ongoing Health

Scout will require vetting, grooming, and neutering before he can be fully adopted.

Training & Support

Scout has never been on a leash or worn a collar, so he will need basic training to get comfortable with these. He is house-trained and enjoys his crate. He's eager to learn and just wants to experience love and companionship.
