Maddy

Meet Maddy! This sweet girl is just over a year old and weighs about 53 pounds. Maddy has had a difficult start in life and is looking for someone who will give her the time, patience, and gentle reassurance she deserves. Once she feels safe, you will see her sweet personality come out. She's timid and tends to be nervous around new things and around men, often shivering and hiding, but she has never once shown aggression. Maddy bonded quickly with her foster mom and is learning to be comfortable with her foster dad, showing us that slow introductions and quiet support are key.

Ideal Home

Maddy would thrive in a home with a fully fenced yard where she can relax and enjoy her space, as she truly opens up outdoors with zoomies and playful chases. A confident and kind canine companion would be ideal, as she misses having a dog friend for guidance and comfort. She is also wonderful with cats and has shown curiosity towards horses.

Ongoing Health

Maddy is spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.

Training & Support

Maddy has excellent leash manners, walking right beside you without pulling and ignoring distractions. She is also crate trained and sleeps through the night. She recently completed training through the PAWS Orofino program, which has given her a strong foundation to continue building confidence.
