Finn

Finn is a sweet, affectionate Mini Aussie / Springer Spaniel mix born on June 30, 2021. He's a loyal boy who forms strong bonds with his people and loves being part of the family. Finn thrives in an indoor home but absolutely loves outdoor adventures. He gets incredibly excited about walks, enjoys tug-of-war, and chasing toys. Finn is very smart and highly trainable, but he will benefit from structure and consistent guidance. He needs daily exercise and mental stimulation to stay balanced. Finn does well in some social settings, enjoys dog parks, and generally gets along with other dogs. He lives peacefully with cats, though he does tend to herd them. However, he can be very barky and alert around strangers, especially near his home, and he is protective of his space.

Ideal Home

Finn would do best in a home with an experienced owner familiar with herding breeds who can provide plenty of exercise, structure, and clear boundaries. He is not recommended for homes with small children, as he may bark at or attempt to herd them. He may do better with older, respectful children with proper introductions.

Ongoing Health

Finn is neutered. He is not currently up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Finn is smart and highly trainable but will benefit from structure and consistent guidance. He can be reactive to people and dogs approaching his property, likely due to herding instincts. He may need ongoing support to manage his protectiveness and alert barking around strangers.
