What you see is what you get here, and what you get is a gorgeous boy with the perfect side of goofy! His name is Jet Jethro, his friends call him Jetty, and he will pull you in with those soulful eyes, then immediately show you his goofy side and it is basically a 1-2 combo that never fails.
Jet is estimated to be around 2 years old and weighing about 65 pounds. He's a rescue, so we don't know his breed or birthday, but we're guessing he's some kind of boutique doodle/lab/setter mix. Whatever he is, he's striking with a strong face, long lines, and a joyful sparkle in his eyes. Jet is affectionate to his core and loves people, greeting everyone like a long-lost friend. He's a lean-in, kiss-giving, belly-rub-accepting kind of guy who makes sure everyone feels included. He settles nicely indoors but is always ready for a bit of fun if there's activity.
Ideal Home
Jet would do best with an active person or household that enjoys movement, visitors, and connection. A busy home with people coming and going would suit him beautifully. Apartment living is a possibility for the right adopter committed to daily exercise, continued leash training, and mental enrichment. Jet is a no-cat guy, as his interest when meeting our house cat was a bit too strong.

Training & Support
Jet is still practicing his leash skills and can get mixed up in where he wants to go. He responds well to guidance and is a fast learner, but will need consistent practice and a dog-savvy person willing to help him keep his rhythm. He did wonderfully with other dogs, meeting them politely on leash and roaming calmly once leashes were dropped. He hasn't shown a particularly playful side yet but may develop it once he settles in. He would do well with a medium-energy dog companion who enjoys some movement and play but won't overwhelm him.

Transportation is available nationwide through our rescue's USDA-certified transport system, with drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Canadian adopters can pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT. A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
