Carmelo is a Shepherd mix with the sweetest, most gentle soul, born mid-March 2025. This loving boy is a little on the shy side at first, but with kindness and patience, he quickly warms up and shows just how affectionate and loyal he can be. He would love to be your one and only pup, as he does best when he does not share a home with other dogs. Carmelo is already potty trained and is proving to be a quick learner, eager to please and easy to train. With his gentle heart and loving nature, Carmelo will make a truly special addition to any family ready to give him the love and reassurance he deserves.

Ongoing Health

Carmelo's adoption fee includes spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm treatment, and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup.

Training & Support

Carmelo is already potty trained and is a quick learner, eager to please and easy to train.

Transportation

Carmelo is located in the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Home visits are required as part of the adoption process, and the rescue is unable to adopt to families outside of this area.
