Meet Sylvia, a spirited 1-year-old, 57-pound mixed breed pup! Sylvia's journey to us was a tough one; she bravely survived on her own for over two months, enduring frigid temperatures. Thankfully, compassionate community members brought her to safety, and she's been with us since February, eagerly awaiting her forever family. Sylvia is a bundle of joy, incredibly loving, and lights up when she meets new people or her favorite staff. She's energetic and playful but also cherishes quiet moments and is a champion snuggler.

Ideal Home

Sylvia would do best in a home without livestock or feathered friends, as she has a strong prey drive that emerged during her time as a stray.

Ongoing Health

Sylvia has been spayed, microchipped, and is up to date on all her vaccinations.

Training & Support

Sylvia is diligently working on her potty training and has shown significant improvement, with fewer accidents in her kennel. A consistent routine will surely help her master this skill! When interacting with other dogs, Sylvia can be a bit dominant and enjoys boisterous play. We recommend slow introductions to ensure compatibility with any resident pups, as she would thrive best with a canine companion who can match her playful energy.

Transporation

Sylvia is currently at our shelter. You can visit her Tuesdays through Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM or Sundays from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Transportation may be available within a certain radius.
