Meet Brown Dog, a sweet young boy born on August 1, 2023. Due to past neglect, he can be a little shy around new people, especially men, and needs some time to build trust. He's also had some negative experiences with other dogs, so he's looking for a home where he can be your one and only canine companion, with no children. Brown Dog absolutely loves walks to burn off energy and would thrive in an active household or a home with plenty of space to run and play. He's working hard on his leash excitement, which stems from previously being kept confined, and is improving daily! He is crate-trained, neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and is a truly loving dog who will be a wonderful protector and cherished member of the right family.

Brown Dog needs a single-dog household without children. He would do best in an active environment or a home with ample space for him to play and explore.

Training & Support

Brown Dog is crate-trained. He is learning to manage his excitement on walks, and with continued positive reinforcement, he'll master it. He has a history of neglect and may take time to warm up to new people, particularly men.
