Phoenix is a young, energetic teenager looking for his forever home. He is a playful, loyal, and affectionate boy weighing about 74 pounds, with a big personality and an even bigger heart. Phoenix is smart, expressive, and happiest when he’s with his people and a trusted dog companion. He loves to run, play, and explore, and he especially enjoys playing with dogs his own size. He is currently being fostered in Virginia.

Ideal Home

Phoenix would thrive in an active home with another dog of similar size, where he can get daily playtime, structure, and companionship. He does not like being alone for long periods and does best when another dog is home with him. He is not a fan of dog parks or daycare.

Training & Support

Phoenix is crate trained and housebroken. He is currently working on his leash skills, though he walks well and is easy to control, he may pull at times. Continued socialization, regular exercise, and mental stimulation will be important to keep him happy and confident.
