Meet Ruby Red, a stunning 55-pound German Shepherd mix with a heart of gold and a mind like a steel trap! She's incredibly smart, picking up on new routines with ease, and is always eager to please. Ruby's past was a bit rough; she was left behind when her family moved, but despite that difficult start, she has an abundance of love to give. She's fiercely loyal, observant, and has a great sense of humor, often giving side-eye like a pro! Ruby is searching for a loving family who will cherish her and give her the second chance she truly deserves. She's ready to be your best friend, protector, and partner in all your adventures.

Ideal Home

Ruby would thrive in a home with a fenced yard to ensure her safety. She gets along well with other dogs, shows gentle curiosity towards cats, and is great with well-behaved children. She also walks wonderfully on a leash.

Ongoing Health

Ruby Red is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm and has already received her first injection. She is up-to-date on all her vaccinations, including Bordetella, is dewormed, and is current on her heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. She has also been spayed, microchipped, and received her rabies vaccine.

Training & Support

Ruby is very intelligent and is expected to adapt quickly to house training. Her foster family has noted her excellent leash manners.
