Jake

Jake is a sweet and earnest boy with a rambunctious personality that has adapted wonderfully to home life after being rescued from the streets as a puppy. He's smart, loving, and responsive, and while he doesn't know any tricks yet, he's a food-motivated pup who will "dance for his dinner!" Once you find a treat he loves, he's all in! Jake's favorite toy is a Lamb Chop, and he enjoys playing with it in the yard on his long lead. He also loves car rides and, amusingly, "helps" with the dishes by licking water off them in the dishwasher.

Ideal Home

Jake is friendly with cats, dogs, and children and has been living with other pets and people. He loves to cuddle and often sleeps in the bed. He will respond immediately to love and attention and give it all back. Remember that he is still learning to be the perfect gentleman after growing up on the streets.

Ongoing Health

Jake is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Jake would benefit from consistent training to help him continue to learn. He is food-motivated, which can be a great asset in training.
