Mavis is a gentle and friendly girl with a sweet personality that shines once she settles in. Born around February 2024, she spent the early months of her life in a remote farmhouse with an elderly woman who loved her. When her owner was evicted, Mavis suddenly found herself needing a new start. Despite the change, she has remained a loving companion. Mavis enjoys attention and being near her humans. She is still getting used to new situations and dogs, and can be a little reserved at first. She has recently learned how to walk on a leash and is doing great with crate training. Mavis is a beautiful dog with a very sweet heart who deserves a home where she can relax, feel safe, and be loved.
Ideal Home
Mavis would do very well as an only dog, soaking up all the love and attention. She could also live with another dog if introductions are slow, thoughtful, and guided by someone experienced. A calm environment will help her feel secure as she adjusts. All dogs and puppies require visible fencing.
Ongoing Health
Mavis has no specific health conditions mentioned. Her adoption fee includes spay or neuter, distemper/parvo vaccines, flea preventative, deworming, and a health certificate for travel.
Training & Support
Mavis has recently learned how to walk on a leash and spend time in a crate, and she’s been doing great with both. She may need patience and a calm environment to help her feel secure as she adjusts to new surroundings.
