Buckle

Buckle and his brother were part of an unwanted litter of puppies born in a rural town we help. Their mother's owner surrendered them to a shelter we help when they were very young. Thankfully, one of our fosters agreed to bring them into her home, and Buckle has been with us since he was 5 weeks old. He's completed his veterinary care and is now ready to find his person!

Buckle is a very mellow pup. He enjoys playtime but isn't hyper. He's almost house-trained and is learning to potty outside. He is also crate trained and leash trained. He loves other dogs and has been well-socialized with children as young as 6. Buckle is currently 6 months old and weighs 30 pounds. We believe he's a Hound mix, and since his mother weighs 35 pounds, he'll likely be a medium-sized adult.

Ideal Home

Buckle loves other dogs and has been successfully introduced to children as young as 6.

Ongoing Health

Buckle is neutered, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. He is also microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Buckle is crate trained and leash trained, and he is almost house-trained.
