Barney is a happy 2.6-year-old Golden Retriever mix who weighs about 75 pounds. He has a big smile that's always ready to brighten your day! Barney loves being around people, enjoys attention, and is always up for a tasty treat. He's treat-motivated, knows how to sit, shake, and lay down, and walks nicely on a leash. Barney gets along well with other dogs, but we're still unsure how he does with cats and children. He can get excited and may jump up on people sometimes, but it's just because he's so happy to meet everyone! If you're looking for a sweet, affectionate best friend with a fun personality and lots of love to give, Barney might be your perfect match.

Ideal Home

Barney would thrive in a home where he can receive plenty of attention. We are still determining his comfort level with cats and children.

Barney is treat-motivated and knows basic commands like sit, shake, and lay down. He walks nicely on a leash. He can get excited and may jump on people, which is something he can work on with continued training and positive reinforcement.
