Amaku

Amaku is a sweet 8-year-old Shiba Inu who is a little shy at first. She needs a patient adopter who will give her time to warm up and show her true, loving personality. Once she trusts you, she’ll be your loyal companion. Amaku enjoys the company of other dogs her size and would prefer a calm environment with not too much hustle and bustle. A fenced yard would be wonderful for her, as it will provide a secure space where she can feel comfortable and explore without feeling skittish. We encourage potential adopters to research the Shiba Inu breed to ensure it’s a good match for their lifestyle and home.

Ideal Home

Amaku would thrive in a calm and quiet home where she can feel safe and secure. A fenced yard is highly recommended to give her a comfortable space to explore.

Ongoing Health

Amaku is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped.

Training & Support

Amaku can be timid when first meeting new people. Patience and a gentle approach will help her build confidence. She does get along with other dogs her size and would likely benefit from continued positive socialization.

• If you are interested in meeting Amaku, please stop by PAWS on Friday or Saturday from 10 AM to 4 PM.
• The adoption fee is $200.00.
• With an approved application, a deposit can hold your new best friend for up to 1 week to allow you time to complete the adoption process. This deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable, and it is not applied to the adoption fee.
