Meet Ashton!

Ashton is a 4-year-old, 88-pound bundle of joy who is as happy and energetic as they come. He's a Yellow Labrador Retriever who found himself back at the shelter due to a family move. Having grown up in a home since he was a puppy, this has been a big adjustment for Ashton, but he's taking it all in stride with a wagging tail and a positive attitude. He absolutely loves to play fetch, eagerly bringing the ball back for another throw. Ashton enjoys being active and soaking up quality time with his people. While he's a strong boy who sometimes forgets his own size, he's incredibly sweet and has gotten along wonderfully with the other dogs here. He's truly a large guy with a personality to match!

Ashton is looking for a loving family who will be committed to him for life and provide the stability he deserves after losing his first home.

Ongoing Health

Ashton is heartworm positive and will be receiving treatment at the shelter. He will need a family dedicated to keeping him on monthly heartworm prevention and ensuring he receives regular veterinary care to maintain his health for years to come.

Training & Support

Ashton is a sweet boy who enjoys activity and company. His new family should be prepared for his size and exuberance.
