Leigh is a sweet, gentle Rottweiler mix with a heart full of love, just waiting to blossom. She's a quick learner who is discovering her confidence one day at a time. While new situations might make her a little shy initially, with a little patience and some tasty treats, her true, affectionate personality shines through. She enjoys spending quality time with her people and thrives on gentle attention.

Ideal Home

Leigh would thrive in a home that understands that building confidence takes time. She would likely enjoy having another dog in the home to help her feel more comfortable and show her the ropes, though her compatibility with cats has not yet been tested.

Ongoing Health

Leigh is currently undergoing treatment for heartworms. The wonderful news is that her ongoing treatment costs will be covered even after adoption, allowing her new family to focus on helping her settle in.

Training & Support

Leigh is working on house training, crate training, and leash walking. She is highly food-motivated and responds very well to positive reinforcement, making her eager to learn new things.
