Bun Bun

Meet Bun Bun, a 1-year-old mixed breed dog who's as charming as he is cuddly! With a velvety black face, delicate pink-lined ears, and a handsome brindle coat, Bun Bun is a looker. He absolutely adores his people and lives to be by their side, whether he's nudging a ball for a game of fetch, gently carrying his favorite bunny toy, or settling in for a belly rub.

Ideal Home

Bun Bun would thrive in a home that offers structure, consistency, and continued training. He'll need an active lifestyle with daily exercise and a patient, committed adopter who understands the joy and occasional challenges of raising a young dog. A fenced yard would be a bonus, but he'd also do well in an apartment or home with sufficient daily exercise and enrichment.

Training & Support

This smart and eager-to-please pup has already completed a 3-week in-residence training program and continues to build on his skills in foster care. He is house-trained (and will signal at the door, though occasional accidents can happen as he matures), and crate-trained. Like many young dogs, Bun Bun can sometimes be reactive to other dogs (though he's improving with proper introductions) and experiences mild separation anxiety, which is getting better with consistency. He can also be a bit mouthy and curious, which is typical for his age. He is continuing to learn structure and boundaries.
