Meet Mandy! This sweet 8-year-old Spaniel/Collie mix is ready to trade her wandering days for a cozy forever couch. She arrived with severely matted fur that required a full shave, but beneath that, a gentle and loving personality is already shining through. Once her beautiful coat grows back, it will only enhance her already radiant spirit!
Mandy is the ultimate companion. She thrives on cuddles, loves to follow her people around, and is happy to be your little shadow. She enjoys leisurely walks and carrying her favorite squeaky toys. She's housebroken and has excellent manners with people.
While Mandy generally gets along well with other dogs and cats, she does require some management around food and high-value chews. She may become vocal or growly if another animal approaches her while she's eating or enjoying a bone. However, she has never shown any aggression towards humans and readily allows people to take items from her. She happily shares toys and enjoys the company of other animals. To ensure harmony, Mandy would do best in a home where feeding is managed separately, or as the cherished only pet.
Mandy might also let out a little bark to ask for attention, but after all she's been through, we think she's earned the right to ask for a few extra snuggles!
