Tinkerbell is a special girl who, at first, can be a little reserved. She likes to observe new people, but once she decides you're a friend, she's incredibly affectionate and loving. Watching her warm up and lean into your pets is incredibly rewarding. She's a sweet, cuddly companion who wants nothing more than to be close to the people she trusts. Tinkerbell enjoys being carried like a baby, snuggling on the couch or bed, and happily follows her humans from room to room. She's believed to be a Pittie/Cattle Dog mix, approximately 1-2 years old and weighing 43 lbs.
Ideal Home
Tinkerbell needs a home with another dog, as she blossoms and feels more confident around canine companions. She also appears to do well with cats, and with children aged 8-14. She would likely thrive in a home with a backyard rather than an apartment.
Ongoing Health
Tinkerbell is up to date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, and flea and heartworm prevention. She has also been spayed and microchipped.
Training & Support
Tinkerbell is crate trained, potty trained, and has wonderful house manners. She enjoys toys, playtime with other dogs, and splashing in a kiddie pool. She's not looking for a chaotic lifestyle and will do best in a home that offers her time to settle in and a quiet presence.

Transporation
Tinkerbell is located in Texas. Transport is available nationwide through our rescue run, USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
